The Curette

Accessibility

An ongoing commitment to accessible scholarly and medical publishing.

Our Commitment

The Curette is committed to ongoing improvement of digital access for readers, authors, reviewers, and editors. This statement is a commitment to practical improvement and does not claim third-party accessibility certification.

Our Approach

We aim to use meaningful page structure, descriptive headings and links, readable typography and contrast, keyboard-usable navigation, visible focus states, and text alternatives or contextual descriptions where supported. Scholarly tables, figures, supplementary files, and production documents can present complex accessibility challenges, and accessible document practices will continue to develop with the publishing infrastructure.

Known Variation

Accessibility can vary by content format, article age, third-party material, and the way complex scientific information was supplied. We do not claim a specific conformance level without verification. Reporting a barrier helps identify practical priorities and does not require a user to diagnose the underlying technical cause.

Report an Accessibility Barrier

Email contact@anvapublishing.com to report inaccessible article files, PDF readability problems, navigation or keyboard issues, contrast or readability barriers, inaccessible tables or figures, or another digital-access barrier.

Please identify the page or file and describe the barrier and any assistive technology used where comfortable. We will use that information to investigate and improve access.
