The applicable APC is based on the billing location of the individual, institution, or organization responsible for payment. Applicable taxes may be charged separately where required by law.
When Payment Is Due
There is no manuscript submission charge. The APC becomes payable only after the manuscript completes the applicable editorial process and is formally accepted.
Editorial Independence
Payment does not influence peer review, reviewer selection, editorial assessment, editorial decisions, or acceptance.
Payment does not guarantee acceptance, indexing, citations, research impact, or expedited scholarly approval.
Waivers, Discounts, and Article Types
Waivers or discounts may be available in approved circumstances, and introductory or launch-period waiver arrangements may be offered. Certain article types may carry a reduced or no APC only where explicitly stated. Requests are handled separately from editorial assessment.
