Aims & Scope

The journal welcomes diabetes, obesity and metabolic disorders; thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary disease; bone and mineral metabolism; endocrine hypertension; endocrine tumors; hormonal regulation; and reproductive endocrinology where endocrine questions are central.

Relevant work includes biomarkers, genetics, precision endocrinology, therapeutics, devices, complications, metabolic medicine, trials, observational cohorts, and patient-centred research. Mechanistic studies should explain endocrine significance.

Readers include endocrinologists, diabetologists, paediatric and reproductive specialists, metabolic researchers, primary-care clinicians, laboratory scientists, allied professionals, geneticists, and trialists.

Scope boundary

General nutrition or lifestyle research should have a defined endocrine or metabolic question. Reproductive studies need a material hormonal or endocrine component.
