Aims & Scope
The journal covers asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, bronchiectasis, pulmonary infection, pulmonary vascular disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, respiratory failure, critical respiratory care, and occupational or environmental lung disease.
It welcomes pulmonary imaging, physiology, diagnostic and biomarker studies, therapeutic trials, rehabilitation, epidemiology, and transplantation research. Oncology-related work is considered when respiratory diagnosis, physiology, complications, or care is central.
Readers include respiratory physicians, intensivists, physiologists, imaging and laboratory specialists, rehabilitation teams, allied professionals, environmental-health researchers, and trialists.
Scope boundary
Cancer biology without a substantive respiratory interface is better suited to oncology. Technical work should demonstrate respiratory validity and relevance.
